After blowing the roof off Madison Square Garden with The Brothers on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, former Allman Brothers Band bandmates Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks have announced plans to team up once again to co-headline a show in Macon, GA (where the ABB lived in the early ’70s) with their respective bands Gov’t Mule and Tedeschi Trucks Band.
Set for Saturday, October 11th at Atrium Health Amphitheater, the show is part of Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Live In 25 Tour, which includes five previously announced co-headlining dates with Gov’t Mule. Unlike those shows, however, this one will also feature support from ABB kin Duane Betts and his band Palmetto Motel, who will also join TTB again the following evening at The BayCare Sound in Clearwater, FL.
Warren Haynes will return to the road with Warren Haynes Band next week for a run of spring tour dates before heading overseas for shows in Europe and the U.K. He will reunite with Gov’t Mule for summer festival appearances at FloydFest and Flood City Music Festival before joining up with Tedeschi Trucks Band in the fall.
Artist pre-sales for the newly announced Macon show are scheduled to begin on Monday, April 21st at 10 a.m. ET, followed by the general on-sale on Friday, April 25th at 10 a.m. ET. Find more details here.
