Grace Potter Reflects On “Eachother” At Georgia Comes Alive [Watch]

On Saturday, December 26th, 50+ artists and hundreds of thousands of viewers around the world came together for Georgia Comes Alive, a virtual music festival aimed at promoting voter participation in Georgia’s Senate runoff elections on January 5th, 2021, which saw a record-breaking voter turnout.

One of the many renowned singer-songwriters to participate in Georgia Comes Alive was Grace Potter who offered her own timely reflection on the pandemic world with “Eachother”. Originally released as a single back in May with contributions from Jackson Browne and Marcus King, this rendition is all Potter as she performs from the candle-lit seclusion of her home.

With only the gentle strum of an acoustic guitar for company, the focus shifts to Potter’s gripping lyrics that paint a vivid picture of the pandemic-ravaged world. Though the song explores the tragedies of death as well as the everyday inconveniences of living in a world beset by a virus, Potter also offers words of hope from her grandmother who said, “This too shall pass.”
