Great South Bay Music Festival has announced its initial lineup of 2022 headliners including Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Rebelution, and more. After two pandemic-induced years off, the long-running event will return to Shorefront Park in Patchogue, NY July 7th–10th.
Known for curating four days of genre-focused headliners alongside rising artists from across the country, Great South Bay Festival will kick off its 14th year on Thursday, July 7th with top acts Grouplove, Manchester Orchestra, and Bayside. Friday, July 8th will host a reggae-focused lineup alongside Rebelution including Steel Pulse, Sublime tribute act Badfish, and Bumpin’ Uglies.

Saturday is “jam day,” with Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, moe., Galactic, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, The Weight Band, and Aqueous due to perform. Finally, the festival will wrap up on Sunday with a presentation of Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Wheels of Soul tour featuring Los Lobos and keyboardist Gabe Dixon‘s solo trio.
In total, Great South Bay will host over 55 performers across three stages throughout the four days of the festival. This includes a fresh crop of up-and-coming artists such as The Robinson Treacher Band, Quarter Horse, Whatever We Are, Aubrey Haddard, Oogee Wawa, Zuli Jr., Scared 20, and Samsara.
