[UPDATE 12/1/22]: Greensky Bluegrass has announced its upcoming 2023 winter tour dates will feature support from six bands over 16 dates including Mikaela Davis, Neighbor, Mihali, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Railroad Earth, and Holly Bowling.
“Traditionally, we have carried the same support band with us for entire tours, but this winter we are changing that model for the sake of mixing it up,” said GSBG’s Anders Beck. “There are so many great bands out there to share the road with and jam with… and for me the most exciting thing about this winter is all the different collaborations we will get to have on stage.”
The tour opener in Buffalo, NY on January 12th will feature support from Mikaela Davis. As will the show in Utica, NY on the 15th, but before that, GSBG’s run at Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre will feature support from Neighbor on the 13th and Twiddle frontman Mihali on the 14th.
Neighbor will provide support for two more shows, one in Red Bank, NJ on the 18th and another in Boston, MA on the 20th, with an evening with Greensky Bluegrass (i.e., no opener) in Burlington, VT on the 18th. After a stop in Philadelphia with support to be announced, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country will open in Cleveland, OH (1/25) and Pittsburgh, PA (1/26). Railroad Earth will then join Greensky for the first of two nights in Washington, D.C. on the 27th, with Daniel Donato returning as support on the second night (1/28).
The tour is set to wrap up with four shows in Columbus, OH (2/1), St. Louis, MO (2/2), and Chicago, IL (2/3–4), each featuring support from Holly Bowling.
