Greensky Bluegrass on Saturday rounded out its a lengthy early-2023 tour with help from Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country at Kansas City, MO’s Uptown Theatre. The performance featured the Greensky debut of Harry Styles hit “As It Was”, the lead single from the British pop star’s Grammy Awards Album of the Year-winning 2022 LP, Harry’s House.

The surprising cover debut came at the tail end of “Tarpology” (The Wayward Sons), a longtime live improv vehicle for Greensky Bluegrass that often serves as a launchpad for covers—from Pink Floyd‘s “One Slip” to Paul Simon‘s “Gumboots” to Bob Marley‘s “Could You Be Loved”.
