Living large and loving his new solo outfit, Gregg Allman has announced plans to perform on December 30th and 31st at the Atlanta Symphony Hall in Atlanta, GA. The former-Allman Brother recently praised his new crew, saying “My new band is the most incredible musical experience I’ve ever had the honor and pleasure to be a part of.”
Allman will return to the Atlanta Symphony Hall for the second year running, returning to his home state for what is sure to be two nights of incredible music. The legendary singer has a busy 2015, as he’s curating his own festival, and will receive a Songwriters Award from the Georgia Hall of Fame later this year.
Tickets for the two night NYE run go on sale this Friday, August 14th, at 10 AM Eastern, and you can find more info via Ticketmaster. We’ll keep our fingers crossed for a Dickey Betts appearance, though chances are admittedly slim.
