Comedian-turned-actor, now-turned-festival-organizer Hannibal Buress announced Wednesday that he will host his own three-day music and comedy festival, Isola Fest, in Isola, Mississippi.

The lineup for Isola, occurring later this month on December 13th-15th, will feature such acts as Flying Lotus, T-Pain, Open Mike Eagle, Eryn Allen Kane, Serengeti, and Khris Royal, in addition to a set from Buress himself.

In a tongue-in-cheek press release, Buress addressed the skepticism some people may have about a music festival organized by an entertainer with no prior promoting or producing experience. However, he promised, “we have things pretty much in order.”

“I’m having a festival December 13-15th in rural Mississippi,” the comedian mentioned in a statement. “That’s kind of short notice but I’m good with it. Isola is short for isolation. I know this sounds like some Fyre Festival part 2 type situation but we have things pretty much in order. Our sandwiches are just as equally trash as theirs though.”

Apparently, the town of Isola has a strong personal connection to Buress, as its where his mother’s side of the family comes from.

Tickets for the inaugural Isola Fest are available for purchase here.
