Jazz legend Herbie Hancock will get back on the road in May 2026 for a brief run of Southeast tour dates [ticket information].

Following a previously announced show on April 14th at Los Angeles’ Walt Disney Concert Hall and a set at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (April 30th–May 3rd, exact date not yet confirmed), the “Watermelon Man” will head out to the Atlanta Symphony Hall on May 5th. Additional shows will follow at the Belk Theater in Charlotte (5/6), Glazer Hall in Palm Beach, FL (5/8), Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota, FL (5/9), and Peace Center Concert Hall in Greenville, SC (5/12) before wrapping at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium on May 13th.

Hancock has not revealed which musicians will join him for the 2026 shows, but the band for his recent run of fall U.S. tour dates included Terence Blanchard (trumpet), James Genus (bass), Lionel Loueke (guitar), and Jaylen Petinaud (drums). Earlier this week, he played a pair of shows in Japan with that same band, except with Chris Potter on saxophone in place of Blanchard.
