Grammy Award-winning bluegrass outfit The Infamous Stringdusters have announced the first batch of their 2019 fall tour dates. Bozeman, MT’s galaxygrass quartet Kitchen Dwellers will handle the opening duties at select stops on the tour.
The Infamous Stringdusters will open up their fall tour with a performance at The Norva in Norfolk, VA on September 13th, followed by stops at New York City’s Sony Hall (9/14); Plattsburgh, NY’s Strand Center for the Arts (9/18); Homer, NY’s Center for the Arts of Homer (9/19); East Aurora, NY’s Borderland Music & Arts Festival (9/21 & 9/22); Pelham, TN’s The Caverns (10/18); Makanda, IL’s Wander Down Music Festival (10/19); and Philadelphia, PA’s Theatre of Living Arts on Halloween night (October 31st).
Moving into November, the band will offer up performances at Norwalk, CT’s Wall Street Theater (11/3); Greenville, NC’s State Theater (116); Asheville, NC’s Orange Peel (11/7); Charlotte, NC’s Neighborhood Theatre (11/8); Carrboro, NC’s Cat’s Cradle (11/9); and Highlands, NC’s Highland Food & Wine Festival (11/10).
There are a number of TBA dates on the recent tour announcement that The Dusters will reveal in the coming weeks.
In April, the quintet comprised of Andy Falco, Chris Pandolfi, Andy Hall, Jeremy Garrett, and Travis Book released their Rise Sun LP. The Dusters reunited with producer Billy Hume (who oversaw 2017’s Grammy-winning Laws of Gravity) to record Rise Sun‘s 13 songs.
