The multi-talented James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem is now entering a whole different musical platform, Broadway. Among his many other projects, he is currently writing an original score for the upcoming production titled “Betrayal”.

The production is an adaptation of Harold Pinter’s 1978 play of the same name and opens October 27.  There is lots of talent involved in addition to Murphy, including Daniel Craig (James Bond) and Rachel Weisz in the leading roles. The plot follows a couple (Craig and Weisz) in reverse chronological order as one of them has an affair with a mutually good friend.

Tickets for the play go on American Express pre-sale on June 26 and to the general public on July 22.
