Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit continued their ongoing run of media appearances behind the recently released Reunions on Tuesday with a virtual performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. For their appearance on the late-night television program, which itself has been operating from remote home locations since March, the Americana/rock band performed a pair of songs from the new studio album, “Running with Our Eyes Closed” and “Overseas”.
Isbell and company have explored unique ways to promote Reunions since its arrival back on May 15th now that live performances and touring are off the table for the foreseeable future. Isbell and violinist Amanda Shires have performed virtually on shows including CBS This Morning and have even played in for a completely empty Brooklyn Bowl Nashville.
