Wilco's Jeff Tweedy To Appear In Season 10 Of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'

Wilco singer, guitarist, and principal songwriter Jeff Tweedy is a busy man these days. In addition to releasing another solo album (his third in three years), spending most of last month on tour, and gearing up for a run of international performances with his Wilco bandmates, the 51-year-old musician has also been cast to appear in the next season of HBO‘s original series, Curb Your Enthusiasm.

According to a new report from Variety shared on Thursday, Tweedy will indeed appear in season 10 of the HBO comedy, which is currently in pre-production and is expected to return to the subscription television network sometime in 2020. This wouldn’t be the first time that Curb producers have enlisted a rocker to appear on the show, as Sleater-Kinney’s Carrie Brownstein made a notable cameo in the show’s ninth season when it returned in 2017.

The specifics of what Tweedy’s role in the show will be are currently under wraps, but if it’s anything like his previous cameo in Portlandia (Brownstein’s other gig) a few year’s back, fans of the show should be in for a good time when Curb returns next year. Tweedy is also known for his verbal sparring abilities, and who better to enter an unsolvable argument with than the one and only Larry David?
