The recently formed New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund has organized “JERSEY 4 JERSEY”, a broadcast fundraiser to fight the impact of COVID-19 in New Jersey, which will feature some of the state’s biggest celebrities, including Bruce SpringsteenJon Bon JoviChalie PuthTony BennettHalseySZA, and more.

“New Jersey has been hit especially hard by the coronavirus pandemic, and the people of New Jersey have always stepped up during difficult times,” Springsteen said to Good Morning America when announcing the event, which will be broadcast at 7:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 22nd, on Apple Music and AppleTV. Furthermore, E Street Radio on SiriusXM (which is currently free) will carry the event live and rebroadcast it five times.

According to a press release, “WABC Channel 7, WPVI 6ABC, WPIX, News12, NJTV and radio outlets including 1010 WINS, WCBS 880, CBS-FM, WFAN, New York’s Country 94.7, Alt 92.3, Q104.3 and others,” will also carry the event live.

“New Jersey is on the front lines of this pandemic, making it more important than ever for us to do what Jersey does best – take care of one another,” New Jersey First Lady Tammy Murphy said in the release. “That’s why we’re asking everyone in our state to join the NJPRF and some of New Jersey’s finest for some much-needed musical entertainment, levity and Jersey Pride during these unprecedented times.”

Additionally, Jersey-based celebrities including Danny DeVitoJon StewartChelsea HandlerKelly RipaSaquon Barkley, and Chris Rock will also appear in the broadcast.
