After more than ten years of polychromatic performances and five full-length albums, Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers have announced plans to record their debut live album, Hometown, over three nights at 20 Front Street, an intimate listening room in downtown Lake Orion, MI, a quarter mile from Hertler’s childhood home.

“I’ve always felt our live show is our final form – and the goal of this record is to capture our best work, 20 songs, spanning the entirety of our career,” Hertler wrote in a social media post.

“20 Front Street is one of the country’s premier listening rooms and has become a haven for songwriters. The vibe here is unmistakable and I personally believe, of the thousands of performances I’ve given, that above all, I have felt the most connected here. That feeling of connectedness is the goal with every performance – and I am beyond excited to see how that magic translates to the band in such an intimate setting.”

Hertler went on to say to “expect lots of tech and cameras and crew,” suggesting that video of the concerts may be released in addition to the live album.

A limited number of tickets for the recording of Hometown, the first live album from Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers, are available to Rainbow Seeker community members. Text 248-609-3487 to join. “It only fits like 80 people,” Hertler warned, adding, “You will be right up next to us. The energy you bring will be a major influence on the recordings (because as I’ve always said, shows are a team effort. Without each other there is no music).”
