Joe Russo’s Almost Dead has announced a three-night run of concerts at Chicago, IL’s Riviera Theatre on December 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2022. The announcement comes after the popular Grateful Dead tribute band’s scheduled Sunday show at Bridgeview, IL’s Sacred Rose this past weekend was canceled due to inclement weather.

“We were super disappointed not to get to play last night,” the band said along with the Monday morning announcement, “but we’re coming back to Chicago!”

A band Facebook pre-sale will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, August 30th, at 12 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. CT. The pre-sale password will be posted on the band’s Facebook page at the aforementioned time. A venue pre-sale will follow on Tuesday, August 30th at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. CT. Remaining tickets for the Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Chicago shows will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, August 31st at 12 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. CT.

While JRAD’s Sacred Rose appearance fell victim to the weather, the band was busy over the weekend with performances at Saratoga Springs, NY’s Saratoga Performing Arts Center (8/25) and Boston, MA’s Leader Bank Pavilion (8/26, 8/27). Next up on the schedule for the group is a three-night stand at Montclair, NJ’s The Wellmont Theater on September 29th, September 30th, and October 1st.
