John Mayer continued his weeklong stint in California with a Friday night show at the Chase Center in San Francisco. The performance came after three nights at The Forum in Los Angeles and featured the singer-songwriter’s first rendition of Beyoncé‘s “XO” in five years.

With Mayer’s Sob Rock touring band firmly in place following some COVID-induced rotations last month, it was all systems go at the Chase Center. The guitarist front-loaded the show with career-spanning offerings starting with Sob Rock‘s “Last Train Home”, followed by “Belief” from 2006’s Continuum, with interspersed tracks from The Search for EverythingBorn and Raised, and more.
