An all-star band featuring members of Phish, The Meters, the Grateful Dead, Furthur, and more will assemble at Portland House of Music in Portland, ME for the Go Big For Hunger (GBFH) benefit on March 8th.

Comprised of Jon Fishman, George Porter Jr., Tom Constanten, Melvin Seals, John Kadlecik, and Wally Ingram, the GBFH All Star Band will do its part to support the fight against child hunger in Maine along with Downeast Dead, Darby Sabin & Friends, Frank Bang 3 and special guests.

“As we are all aware, any number of children living with hunger here in Maine or anywhere is unacceptable,” said promoter and GBFH founder Greg Martens. “I started Go Big For Hunger to raise money to support Maine’s anti-hunger organization Full Plates Full Potential. Go Big raises money through concerts, and I appreciate my friends filling our stages and packing the house to enjoy the shows.”

Tickets for the benefit concert will go on sale on Wednesday, November 1st. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the GBFH website.
