Keep Your Mind In Tune – Episode 2
This week’s Keep Your Mind In Tune panel, comprised of Brandwein, Shah, and Alan Evans, will welcome a slew of experts for enlightening discussions including author and professor Aya Gruber, former New Hampshire police chief/All Aces Inc. partnerships director John Monaghan, and civil rights lawyer and ACLU board member Faisal Salahuddin.
As always, the episode will be rounded out by a musical performance. This week, performers include Alan Evans, Dave Brandwein, DJ Williams (Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe), a number of Brandwein’s Turkuaz bandmates, and more.
Keep Your Mind In Tune helps give music fans a better understanding of the issues we face in the U.S. today via interviews with experts—including professors, authors, lawyers, activists, and law enforcement—covering various timely topics, all hosted by a weekly rotating panel of musicians. The show aims to bring a fact-based approach to informing current events and seeks to ensure that viewers receive information directly from people with hands-on experience who work daily in their respective fields, rather than relying on social media platforms as their main source of news. The show premiered last week with guests Nikki Glaspie (Beyoncé, Maceo Parker, Dumpstaphunk, The Nth Power), Andy Bernstein (HeadCount), and more. Revisit Keep Your Mind In Tune Episode 1 here.
