Kendall Street Company has announced its 2022 Kendall Street Is For Lovers Tour. The tour will see the Virginia-based rock act play 20 shows in 28 days across its home state throughout the month of February.
Beginning on February 1st, KSC will perform every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday throughout the month, hosting a show at a different venue for each day of the week. Tuesday nights (2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22) will see the band take over The Milk Parlor in Blacksburg, before heading to Harrisonburg’s The Golden Pony on Wednesdays (2/2, 2/9, 2/16, 2/23).
Every Thursday in February (2/3, 2/10, 2/17, 2/24), Kendall Street Company will take over Roanoke, VA’s Martin’s Downtown before heading to Rapture in its hometown of Charlottesville for the Friday night gigs (2/4, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25). Finally, the quintet will head to The Camel in Richmond for its Saturday evening residency (2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26).
“I’m incredibly stoked to tour our beautiful home state of Virginia for the month of February,” said Louis Smith (vocals, guitar). “This state has nourished us since we were wee lads running around in the Charlottesville foothills. Virginia is home. Virginia is for lovers. We love Virginia. Can’t wait to gallivant across this great state!”
This tour announcement comes on the heels of a successful fall tour that saw KSC traverse the nation, highlighted by several well-received shows including a double-header at Cervantes’ in Denver, CO, the sixth annual Turkey Jam at Elevation 27 in Virginia Beach, VA, and a seminal performance on The Relix Channel exclusively on Twitch in New York City.
