As bluegrass outfits Kitchen Dwellers and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades begin their co-headlining Fall Tour together, we take a look back at this past summer’s Northwest String Summit when the Horseshoes’ guitar/dobro player Adam Greuel was joined by the Dwellers for a run-through of the former’s 2013 This Old Town number “Rivers High.”  Check it out below:

Both groups were featured prominently on our “5 Up and Coming Bluegrass Bands” list earliest this year, and will make their way through the northeast next week with stops at Burlington, VT’s Nectar’s on Oct. 4th, followed by a return to New York City at American Beauty on Thursday, Oct. 5th and Washington D.C.’s Gypsy Sally’s on Friday, Oct. 6h. Pennsylvania bluegrass act Mountain Ride will open VT and NYC dates, while Kind Country will be out in support for the D.C. date.
