LCD Soundsystem will be home for the holidays with the announcement of a 12-show New York City residency. The art-rock dance band will perform four shows a week for three weeks in November and December at Queens’ Knockdown Center.

This marks LCD Soundsystem’s fourth annual autumn residency in its native New York City, following 2023’s Tri Boro Tour which visited Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. In the two previous years, the band confined its extended run to Brooklyn, though in 2021 were forced to cut the residency short due to a national spike in COVID cases.

This year’s shows will occur November 21st–24th, December 5th–8th, and 12th–15th. A poster for the residency indicates there will be special guest bands every night, after parties, international DJs, the return of singer James Murphy‘s Four Horsemen wine bar, and a DFA Records swap meet.

American Express cardmembers can purchase pre-sale tickets for the 2024 LCD Soundsystem New York City residency from Tuesday, September 24th at 10 a.m. ET until Wednesday at 10 p.m. A fan pre-sale then begins Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET followed by the general on-sale starting Thursday at 10 a.m. Find full ticketing details and sign up for pre-sales here.

Ahead of the NYC stay, LCD Soundsystem has a headlining gig at Life Is Beautiful‘s A Big Beautiful Block Party in Las Vegas on Saturday, September 28th. After that, the Brooklyn-born eight-piece will head west for an eight-show residency in Los Angeles beginning on Halloween. Visit the band’s website for tickets and a complete list of tour dates.

Last summer, LCD Soundsystem broke from its rut of primarily playing residencies in major cities by embarking on the Re:SET Concert Series. The traveling festival brought a rotating lineup to cities across the U.S. with three unique, artist-curated days. LCD Soundsystem put together its lineup with Jamie xxIDLES, and Big Freedia. That tour sparked a connection between LCD and British post-punks IDLES resulting in the collaborative “Dancer” on the latter’s dance-inspired new album, TANGK. LCD Soundsystem’s last new original release came in 2022 with the song “new body rhumba” for Netflix’s adaptation of Don DeLillo‘s 1985 novel White Noise.
