Lettuce will celebrate New Year’s with a two-night run at North Beach Bandshell in Miami Beach, FL on December 31st and January 1st. Joining the future funk/hip-hop/jazz outfit for the residency, presented by GMP Live and The Rhythm Foundation, is rising producer Flamingosis [get tickets].

The New Year’s run will cap off an eventful year for Lettuce. After the pandemic initially stunted its touring ability, the sextet announced its triumphant return with the Bring Back The Love Tour. The 41-date trek—currently in progress—has seen the group traverse the country, putting on memorable sets at such hotspots as Suwannee Hulaween, Summer Camp Music Festival, and more.

The year was not without its challenges, however, as Lettuce was forced to postpone a number of September dates due to a positive COVID test within the band. Having hurdled those obstacles, the group promises to return even stronger in 2022, with a rescheduled European tour followed by a number of additions to the original Bring Back The Love Tour.

The two-night, year-ending run will mark Lettuce’s latest return to the Miami Beach venue steadily becoming a haven for improvisational music and funk alike. Just prior to the pandemic’s shutdown of live music in 2020, Lettuce was one of many acts to take part in the fourth annual GroundUP Music Festival on February 16th.

Tickets for the two-night Lettuce New Year’s run at North Beach Bandshell in Miami Beach, FL with Flamingosis on December 31st and January 1st are on sale now.
