Lindsey Buckingham has announced the first batch of solo tour dates a year after he initially revealed his vocal cords had been damaged during open-heart surgery.
Buckingham took to his Instagram on Tuesday, announcing the upcoming spring run which begins on April 30th with a performance at the Smith Center in Las Vegas, NV and continues over 11 dates before wrapping on May 13th following a gig at the Magnolia Performing Arts Center in El Cajon, CA.
The tour’s announcement also comes just a few weeks after Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood told Rolling Stone that while Buckingham’s legacy as a longtime leader of the band is well intact, he doesn’t expect to ever welcome the guitarist back to the group. Buckingham was fired by the group in spring 2018 after he wanted to focus on his solo projects prior to the band’s extensive An Evening With Fleetwood Mac World Tour.
Tickets for the spring performances go on sale this Friday, February 14th, via Buckingham’s official website. Scroll down for the full listing of upcoming tour dates.
