At the end of this month, July 31st, Led Zeppelin will finish their extensive archival re-release project with deluxe issues of Presence (1976), In Through The Out Door (1979) and Coda (1982). Each album will come with a companion disc, complete with never-before-heard alternate versions and new songs that are sure to make any Zeppelin fan giddy.

With that release fast approaching, Zeppelin has shared a raw version of their 1979 track “In The Evening”. This version is more evened out compared to the final album version, which features more of Zeppelin’s signature grungy rock sound.

We’re certainly looking forward to these final archival releases, especially if that means that Jimmy Page will start touring again after he finishes this project.
