Live From Here, the weekly variety show led by musician Chris Thile which broadcasts live from New York City’s Town Hall, has announced the additions of more notable musical guests who will join the show’s fall and early winter schedule.

The upcoming event on October 26th will now feature performances from singer Mavis Staples and comedian Janeane Garofalo, in addition to Paul Simon, Rachael Price (Lake Street Dive), and Rachael & Vilray, who were all previously announced. Additionally, Pixies will join the billing for the December 7th event with Crooked Still, Aoife O’Donovan, and Tom Papa, while singer/pianist Sara Bareilles and comedian Maria Bamford will now join Sarah Jarosz and Dave Hill for the show on December 14th. Rap artist Common has also been added to the November 2nd event alongside Gregory Alan Isakov, Serena Brook, O’Donovan, and Papa.

Live from Here initially developed as a result of A Prairie Home Companion, a program hosted by Garrison Keillor, which aired through public radio starting back in March 1974. Thile ended up taking over the hosting responsibilities beginning in 2016, having been a lifelong fan of the show, which initially ran until its hiatus back in 1987. Live from Here now continues its former tradition of being broadcasted via public radio, in addition to being streamed online and in some cases, YouTube.
