Maggie Rose Shares Final Video In Her 'Have A Seat' Trilogy, "For Your Consideration" [Watch]

Maggie Rose has shared the music video for “For Your Consideration”, the third in a trilogy of visuals meant to accompany her forthcoming album, Have A Seat, available everywhere Friday, August 20th via Starstruck Records.

The video for “For Your Consideration” follows “What Are We Fighting For” and “Saint” as the final installment of the series. Much like the previous two videos, “For Your Consideration” finds Rose in a surreal banquet setting by way of the unique eye of director Ford Fairchild.

As Fairchild says of the process, “I was lucky enough to watch Maggie bring Have A Seat to life from the beginning and one thing I noticed was how much personal growth she worked through in making this record. You could tell she was stepping into an alternate universe every time she was in work mode. So when it came time to figure out creative direction, I wanted to show that growth with Maggie working through it over dinner with different versions of herself.”

“We really wanted viewers to get to know the different sides of Maggie individually so we decided to do that in a trilogy, with ‘For Your Consideration’ bringing them all together,” continues Fairchild. “The dinner table signifies the body of work as a whole so you’ll see nods to each song on the record throughout the trilogy.”

Have A Seat, Rose’s third full-length LP, was produced by Ben Tanner (Alabama Shakes) at the iconic FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL. In a series of pre-pandemic sessions, Rose recorded the album live with a lineup of heavy-hitters that includes bassist David Hood of the Swampers (the group of session musicians who played on records from legends like Aretha Franklin and Etta James) and guitarist Will McFarlane (Bonnie Raitt, Levon Helm), along with her longtime bandmates/collaborators Larry Florman (background vocals/percussion), Alex Haddad (guitars), and Sarah Tomek (drums) of Them Vibes, in addition to a guest appearance by Marcus King.
