Marco Benevento has officially released his latest album, Let It Slide, via Royal Potato Family. Let It Slide marks Benevento’s first full-length solo studio release since 2016’s The Story of Fred Short.

Produced by Leon Michels and influenced by the late Richard Swift, the new LP hears Benevento continue to hone a sound and vibe all his own within the psychedelic pop realm he’s been known to inhabit.

While Benevento may be known best for his prodigious abilities behind a keyboard, he largely forgoes keyboard-centric compositions for punchy beats, lush production, and radio-ready vocal hooks on Let It Slide. Of course, that’s not to say his unique abilities as a keyboardist aren’t on display on the record (check out “Humanz” or the closing solo on “Nature’s Change” if you need confirmation).
