Matisyahu has shared “Chameleon”, the lead single from his forthcoming, self-titled album. Matisyahu is due out on March 4th via Fallen Sparks Records and marks the musician’s first studio release since 2017’s Undercurrent.

Juliana Ronderos and Nicolas Losada, who together make up the duo Salt Cathedral, produced Matisyahu and also co-wrote and appear on the lead single. Arriving with a lyric video, “Chameleon” contains many of the elements that have made Matisyahu so successful over his nearly-two decade career. It contains introspective and optimistic lyrics focused on growth and becoming a better version of oneself, and sets themes sure to be present throughout his seventh studio album.

Matisyahu pairs his auspicious lyrics with the poppy and electronic production from Salt Cathedral, whose Columbian roots shine through on a danceable track fitting for a nightclub atmosphere. Ronderos and Losada also lend a hand lyrically, both taking turns on a verse of their own.

Matisyahu will be at City Winery in Chicago, IL this week for three shows over two nights (10/28–10/29). Head here for ticket information and a list of tour dates.
