Mempho Music Festival returned to Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, TN for its third year over the weekend, from October 19th–20th. Over two days and nights, attendees enjoyed Tennessee’s early autumn weather with live performances from headliners The Raconteurs, Brandi Carlile, Wu-Tang Clan, The Revivalists, and more.

The weekend also featured a mix of performances from artists including Missio, Lord T & Eloise, Smith & Thell, Marcella & Her Lovers, Mark Edgar Stuart, Reignwolf, and Summer Avenue.

One of the 2019 event highlights was a tribute set dedicated to Sun Studio, the famous recording house founded in Memphis which hosted notable sessions with Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, and more starting in 1950. The tribute set was led by Jerry Phillips—son of Sam Phillips, the founder of Sun Studio–and featured a revolving door of participating musicians including Jason D. WilliamsAmy LevereDavid BrookingsJohn Paul KeithWill SextonLahna DeeringSeth MoodyGeorge Sluppick, and Graham Winchester.
