Twiddle singer-songwriter-guitarist Mihali will head out on the road this winter on the Lifted Tour, his largest headlining solo sojourn to date. The mix of solo and full-band shows will see the multi-hyphenate perform with his Twiddle bandmates Zdenek Gubb (bass) and Adrian Tramontano (drums) as part of his live band.

The full lineup for Mihali’s touring ensemble also includes Michael Oehmen and Michael Bafundo on horns as well as keyboardist Scott Hannay, who frequently lent a hand on keys during Twiddle’s farewell tour last year which preceded the band’s ongoing indefinite hiatus. When not playing with a full band, Mihali will present live looping shows where audiences will see him build songs from the ground up, one instrument at a time. Saxophonist Michael Oehmen will also join Mihali for the looping concerts.

“I couldn’t be more excited to get back on the road for so many headlining dates,” Mihali said. “I have a ton of new music ready to show everyone, and I’m extremely honored to have my brother Gubb joining me on bass for all upcoming band shows! There’s no one I would rather have holding down the low end than him, and with the band getting so locked in, I know we’ll be bringing positive uplifting vibes across the country.”

Mihali’s slate of new concerts will kick off on March 5th with a full-band show at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver. The tour will travel from west to east, making stops throughout the Midwest in Minneapolis (3/12), Chicago (3/14), Detroit (3/15), Cleveland (3/16), Pittsburgh (3/20) and more en route to a run of shows in the Northeast. After gigs in Syracuse, NY (3/22) and West Dover, VT’s Mount Snow Reggae Fest (3/23), the tour will wrap with a final run of full-band shows in Boston (4/5), Portland, ME (4/6), Washington, D.C. (4/7), and lastly New York City’s Bowery Ballroom (4/9).

Tickets for the Mihali Lifted Tour go on sale Friday, February 9th at 12 p.m. local venue time via his website. See below for a full list of tour dates.

This tour announcement comes less than three months after Twiddle took its final bows at the band’s three-night Frendsgiving celebration at The Capitol Theatre. Almost a year to the day prior, the band had announced that it would go on an indefinite hiatus in 2024, finally taking a break after 18 years on the road. Though the future remains uncertain for Twiddle at the moment, Mihali said at the time, “This isn’t the end, it’s just goodbye for now.”
