On Tuesday, North Mississippi Allstars announced plans for a 2020 winter tour, which will see the band on the road throughout January and February. The band, fronted by brothers Luther Dickinson and Cody Dickinson, will tour in support of their forthcoming studio album, Up and Rolling, set for release this Friday, October 4th via New West Records.
North Mississippi Allstars’ new album was produced by the Dickinson brothers at their family studio, The Zebra Ranch, and features a plethora of all-star guests including Mavis Staples, Jason Isbell, Cedric Burnside, Duane Betts, and Sharde Thomas.
North Mississippi Allstars’ 2020 winter tour begins with a performance at Milwaukee, WI’s Turner Hall Ballroom on January 15th and ends with a show at Boulder, CO’s Fox Theatre on February 22nd. The tour will also see the band make stops at Chicago, IL’s Thalia Hall (1/16); Minneapolis, MN’s Fine Line Music Cafe (1/18); Nashville, TN’s The Basement East (1/24); Atlanta, GA’s Terminal West (1/25); Austin, TX’s Antone’s Nightclub (2/7 & 2/8); Los Angeles, CA’s Teragram Ballroom (2/13); San Francisco, CA’s The Independent (2/15); Aspen, CO’s Belly Up (2/19); Breckenridge, CO’s Breckenridge Riverwalk Center Adm (2/20); and more.
