Halloween is coming early to nugs, and the streaming platform is pulling out all the stops for a month-long celebration of live music’s most spirited season. Alongside a slate of premiere Halloween livestreams from across the country, nugs is rolling out Weekly Haunts, a three-part series spotlighting hauntingly good shows from the vault, themed playlists, and fresh livestream content for spooky season.
nugs’ Weekly Haunts runs from mid-October through early November, offering fans multiple ways to revisit classic Halloween sets, discover themed playlists, and tune in for new livestreams. Week one (10/13–10/19), “Concerts from the Crypt” resurrects classic Halloween shows from the vault. Week two (10/20–10/26), “Night of the Living Setlists” drops six new Halloween-themed playlists, including “BooGrass,” “Ghoul of Rock,” “Darkside of the Dead,” and more. Week three (10/27–11/2), “Don’t scream… Livestream” features video highlights, new subscription video on-demand (SVOD) drops, and exclusive livestreams from some of the biggest names in jam, bluegrass, and rock.
“Concerts from the Crypt” includes Halloween shows from Widespread Panic (1996), Phil Lesh and Friends (2015), Grateful Dead (1971), Phish (1994), My Morning Jacket (2023), Gov’t Mule (2013), King Crimson (1981), Pearl Jam (2009), The Disco Biscuits (2015), Frank Zappa (1977), moe. (2015), Greensky Bluegrass (2018), Pigeons Playing Ping Pong (2021), Umphrey’s Mcgee (2007), Billy Strings (2022), Goose (2019), Eggy (2024), The String Cheese Incident (2002), Daniel Donato (2024), and Lotus (2009).
