Electronic duo ODESZA recently dropped their highly-anticipated new album, A Moment Apart, which featured a guest collaboration with Leon Bridges on the track “Across the Room.” The song was performed live on Saturday night, when Bridges surprised fans at ODESZA’s sold-out show at Chicago’s UIC Pavilion. The collaboration marked Bridges’ second-ever live performance with ODESZA after singing with the band at Seattle’s Bumbershoot Festival earlier this year to kick off the band’s release week. In a recent “making of” video, the dynamic duo discusses the coming together of this collaboration, and how they long dreamed of collaborating with Bridges, who had never heard of ODESZA until being tapped for the song. The composition evolved over the course of one unordinary Tuesday into a beautiful masterpiece.
