Ozzy Osbourne has postponed the European leg of his No More Tours 2 tour with Judas Priest. The Prince of Darkness originally scheduled the tour back in 2017, which was supposed to see him perform across the world through 2020.

In a statement posted to his social media pages, Osbourne cited the COVID-19 pandemic as the impetus for postponing the tour.

“Due to the ongoing uncertainty with full capacity events and travel logistics in much of Europe, we have come to the difficult decision to postpone my 2022 tour to 2023. Original tickets remain valid for the new dates. I want to thank all of you and Judas Priest for your continued patience and support.”

The run of shows will now kick off in May 2023, starting with Helsinki, Finland’s Hartwall Arena on the 3rd. A string of setbacks, not limited to the pandemic, has kept Ozzy from touring over the past 2 years. Back in October 2019, Osbourne suffered a fall that prevented him from staging the European leg of the tour. Then in early 2020, the singer revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, throwing all future tour dates in doubt.

Despite all this bad news, Osbourne has already promised that he’ll never retire.

“The best medication I’ve had in a long time,” Ozzy said of his Ordinary Man album in a 2020 interview with The Mirror. “Doing the record saved my life. I’m just a very fortunate man to be still here talking to you about my life. Life goes on. Right now, right here, today. I’m f***ing great.”
