Papadosio returns east to bring good times like an old friend with stories that change nightly. Their blend of Progressive rock, Jazz and electronic music has paved the way for a show and sound like no other. With a new release on the horizon, they will be trying out their new ideas out as they hone in on the next batch of sweet musics. To add razzle to the dazzle, they are bringing in their audio reactive light show that reacts to each player’s sounds to encourage a deeper connection with listeners. Expect lengthy improvisations mixed with hard hitting anthems and smooth psychedelic goo as Papadosio makes their return to their east coast homeland.
The Asheville-based space rockers will set out on a 2018 Spring Tour with support from Aqueous and Desmond Jones. The band will kick things off on January 27th with a headlining performance at Gem & Jam Festival in Tucson, Arizona, before heading straight to the Winter Werkout Festival for two nights in Columbus, OH, and then the Fractal Beach Festival in Virginia Key Beach Park, VA. From there, the rock/jazz/electronic quintet will hit the road for an east coast tour that will last through March 24th–making stops at iconic venues like the Stone Pony, Toad’s Place, Higher Ground, with multi-night runs at the Brooklyn Bowl in NYC and The Sinclair in Boston, and culminating with a massive celebration at the The National in Richmond, VA. The Spring Tour will bring a blend of electronic and live instrumentation that is sure to leave any frequency fan smiling from ear to ear.
Papadosio To Ring In 2018 Proper With Zoogma, Push/Pull, & More
With a handful of tour dates left on the 2017 calendar, Papadosio has some very special plans cooked up for their New Year’s Eve celebration with two final performances in Nashville, Tennessee. The band will play Exit/In on Saturday, December 30th, with Doyle, followed by a proper New Year’s Eve celebration the next night at Marathon Music Works with Zoogma and Push/Pull. In addition, Papadosio’s own Anthony Thogmartin will host a free pre-party under his Earthcry moniker at The Back Corner to get the celebration started on Friday, December 29th, along with Liferoot.
