[Update 3/6/25]:  Following a hiatus in 2024 and a recently announced location change to ACE Adventure Resort in West Virginia’s New River Gorge, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong festival Domefest has revealed the lineup for its 2025 event.

Set to take place on August 7th, 8th, and 9th, the latest edition of Domefest will feature three nights of Pigeons in addition to performances by Papadosio, Spafford, Octave Cat (ft. members of Lotus and Dopapod), Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers, Dizgo, Sicard Hollow, and many more.

The lineup features a number of notable Domefest veterans. Papadosio will return for the first time since the second annual Domefest in 2011 as the band does its final lap around the country before going on indefinite touring hiatus next year. Both Spafford and Octave Cat will also return following memorable Domefest debuts in 2022, while familiar acts like Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers, Chalk Dinosaur, Houseplant, and Fletcher’s Grove are also back on the lineup in 2025. while an eclectic mix of newcomers includes 5AM Trio, Underground Springhouse, Natalie Brooke, The Infinity Tribe, Big Blitz, WCK (ft. Eli Winderman, Jonathan Colman and John Kimock), and the electronic grooves of eeli (Eli Winderman of Dopapod/Octave Cat). Per tradition, the 2025 festival will also include the return of The Domefest All-Stars, a “collaborative set featuring past and present Domefest artists.”

ACE Adventure Resort will also allow attendees to take part in  world-class whitewater rafting, zip lining, mountain biking, hiking, and a variety of outdoor activities including a sprawling waterpark full of slides, trampolines, and inflatables. With mountaintop campsites, cozy cabins, clean restrooms, hot showers, and a variety of on-site food and beverage options, ACE Adventure Resort provides the perfect setting for a weekend of music and adventure.

[1/29/25]: Pigeons Playing Ping Pong festival Domefest will return in 2025, making its debut at the ACE Adventure Resort in Oak Hill, WV. After taking a year off in 2024, the band’s long-running curated festival will find a new home in West Virginia’s New River Gorge on August 7th, 8th, and 9th.

Tuesday’s announcement did not include any artists, though the band fans to ” Stay tuned for a killer lineup announcement and sooo much more.” Hosts Pigeons Playing Ping Pong traditionally fill out much of the lineup with upwards of five sets throughout the weekend, joined by jam band contemporaries like Goose, Aqueous, Twiddle, Magic Beans, LITZ, and more.

Blind faith tickets for Domefest 2025 are on sale here for $150 and will go up to $209 by the day of the show. All GA passes include admission to the festival, three nights of camping, and a parking pass. In addition to a weekend of music, ACE Adventure Resort hosts a variety of activities including whitewater rafting, ziplining, ATV tours, and more, as well as a full-fledged waterpark on-site. This will mark the latest relocation for PPPP’s Domefest, started by guitarist Jeremy Schon in 2010 for his senior project at the University of Maryland where the band originated. Over the years Domefest has grown in size and scope, prompting moves throughout the Midwest to West Virginia (twice), Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Most recently, Domefest staged three consecutive iterations at Thornville, OH’s beloved Legend Valley, including a 2021 “Party in the Pods” socially distanced event and two full-fledged fests in 2022 and 2023. The festival took a planned one-year gap in 2024 as organizers searched for a new location, ultimately landing on West Virginia’s ACE Adventure Resort, home of Mountain Music Festival which Pigeons headlined in 2021.
