Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will performa socially distant concert at South Farms in Morris, CT on Saturday, October 10th as part of the outdoor venue’s “Twilight Concerts on the Farm” series.
This new show announcement follows a string of drive-in performances by the Baltimore-native quartet billed as Time To Drive-In. As the band noted along with the CT show’s announcement, “This is not a drive-in, you’ll be able to enjoy the show from safely spaced 8×8’ grids on the field.” As opposed to the drive-in format, this pod-style venue features live PA sound rather than audio transmitted through an FM signal into peoples’ cars.
The Pigeons Playing Ping Pong “pod” concert in Morris, CT adds to an already exciting lineup of performances at the outdoor venue in the coming months including shows by The Marcus King Trio, Warren Haynes with Danny Louis, Goose, Citizen Cope, Caamp, and Twiddle as well as comedy shows by Bill Burr, John Mulaney, Pete Davidson, and Mike Birbiglia.
The recently announced outdoor concert series, “Twilight Concerts On The Farm,” takes place at South Farms in Morris, CT. Shows will take place on over 10 acres of manicured farmland. The venue boasts a beautifully structured grid layout, adhering to public health guidelines while still maintaining the intimacy of live concerts. The vast spacing and outdoor conditions (open air) help reduce potential transmission and encourage social distancing. With safety as the top priority, each event will comply with the most current health and safety standards per state regulations and local jurisdictions in order to protect fans, artists, crews and staff.
