Preservation Hall has announced a livestream benefit concert, dubbed ‘Round Midnight Preserves, taking place on Saturday, June 20th, and featuring appearances by Dave GrohlJon BatisteDave Matthews, and many more.

Hosted by Preservation Hall’s Ben Jaffe, and directed by Danny Clinch‘Round Midnight Preserves will feature live performances, never before seen archived collaborations, and interviews with a variety of guests. The free, three-hour livestream event will begin at 9:00 p.m. ET and benefit the Preservation Hall Foundation‘s Legacy Emergency Relief Fund. As Preservation Hall Foundation is a Spotify COVID-19 Music Relief fund partner, Spotify will match dollar-for-dollar donations. Additional artists include Elvis CostelloBeckIrma ThomasJim James (My Morning Jacket), PJ MortonNathaniel Rateliff, and more.

Furthermore, organizers will hold a live auction to win four “Big Shot” seats to a Preservation Hall show in New Orleans, as well as four tickets to one of the following artists’ shows in the United States: Dave Matthews Band, Foo Fighters, Elvis Costello, Beck, Jim James/My Morning Jacket, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, and Jon Batiste.

“Every year we look forward to Midnight Preserves as a way to connect with our fans and old friends,” said Jaffe in a press release. “Just about everyone I’m friends with today I’ve met through music or a musical collaboration that came out of Midnight Preserves. It’s a blessing to have met so many incredible humans and to have shared our stage and their stage.”
