After a successful 2024 tour celebrating Maynard James Keenan‘s 60th birthday, Primus, Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle will team up again for the Sessanta V2.0 tour. The six-week trek will see the three bands (the latter two fronted by the Tool singer) perform throughout the U.S. in spring 2025.
The Sessanta sequel will kick off on April 24th in Palm Springs, CA and run through June 7th when it wraps in Seattle. In between, the 26-date tour will criss-cross the country with stops in Las Vegas (4/25), San Antonio (4/29), Tampa (5/8), Charlotte (5/10), Philadelphia (5/15), Cleveland (5/25), Milwaukee (5/31), Omaha (6/3), Portland, OR (6/6), and many more.
“The Sessanta run was by far the most fun and delicious extended birthday party I’ve ever had thanks to all of the attendees and the master musicianship of Primus, Puscifer and A Perfect Circle. No comparison,” Keenan said. “Decided we need to share this with people who missed the first round in places we couldn’t get to. Strap in.”
The headliner-less performances will see each band play distinct sets as they switch off closing duties at each stop. Though each band gets its own set, that doesn’t mean musicians from one band won’t show up to lend another act a hand. That spirit of collaboration extends beyond the three featured acts, as the last tour hosted a variety of special guests including Billy Strings, Sean Lennon, James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins), Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens of the Stone Age), and Keenan’s Tool bandmates Danny Carey, Justin Chancellor, and Adam Jones. Along with the tour, the bands released the collaborative Sessanta E.P.P.P. featuring a song from each band all co-written by Keenan.
