Resonance Music And Arts Festival will take place as planned September 16th—19th, 2021 at Cooper’s Lake in Slippery Rock, PA, Essential Productions announced on Monday. Organizers have also released an initial lineup of performers including Tipper (x2), Lettuce, Emancipator (x2), and Keller Williams (x3).
This update comes with few details beyond the initial lineup, though many more acts to be revealed as the event draws closer. The mere confirmation of the festival’s dates, however, is a jovial enough occasion for the event, which was originally postponed from September 2020. With the 2020 dates still six months away when the entire live music industry was put on hold in March, the only acts that had been revealed for the festival were Emancipator, Emancipator Ensemble, and Ott.
The initial lineup announcement did not include any specifics on COVID-19 safety protocols, or whether this event would take place in a pod-style environment. Once again, with the planned dates nearly six months away, it is likely that organizers will observe the United States’ continued vaccination rollout before making an official announcement.
