Fleetwood Mac and RHINO will reissue the band’s 1980 Live album to mark its 40th anniversary this spring, complete with never-before-released concert recordings and nostalgic tour merch from the band’s world tours in 1977 and 1982.

Fleetwood Mac Live Super Deluxe 3 CD/2 180-gram LP reissue will arrive on April 9th, and will include a remastered version of the original album, plus 14 unreleased live tracks from shows between 1977-1982 on the third CD. First released by Warner Bros. on December 8th, 1980 at the height of their success following several massive studio releases throughout the 70s, Live collected a mix of concert recordings from shows between 1979-1980 (though “Don’t Let Me Down Again” was recorded in 1975). The tracks “Fireflies”, “One More Night”, and their cover of Beach Boys‘ “Farmer’s Daughter”, which appeared on the original album, were all captured during a private show for the band’s crew, family, and friends.

Fleetwood Mac previewed the forthcoming reissue by sharing a live cut of “The Chain” from the band’s 5/20/80 show at Cleveland’s Richfield Coliseum to go with Wednesday’s album announcement. Listen to the sublime performance of the Rumours track below.
