It appears that Rusko’s talents extend beyond the studio and into the kitchen, where the producer holds a self acclaimed talent for frying chicken. Whether this is a marketing strategy to promote his upcoming tour, or simply his desire to share his fried chicken recipe is up for debate. Either way, he’s teamed up with Epic EDM to release a cooking video featuring his cooking process, which he claims to be “better than Popeye’s.”

Combining fun ingredients like white pepper, celery seed, and beer, the recipe was clearly devised along with the use of the musicians other favorite dry herb. Rusko will be taking a hiatus from his burgeoning career as a soul food expert this October through November to tour through the United States alongside Roni Size and MC Dynamite.
