RZA has released one of his most unique projects yet, a new EP titled Guided Explorations, produced in partnership with Tazo tea. Guided Explorations is available now on all popular streaming services.
The Wu-Tang Clan frontman begins the album with an intro that instructs listeners to “Grab some tea, find a comfortable, seated position, and prepare to unlock [their] hidden powers.” Throughout Guided Explorations, RZA converts the meditative methods he developed for Camp Tazo into song form, aiding his students in exploring their minds and discovering new truths.
In “Kill The Noise”, RZA also outlines breathing techniques before discussing stress and anxiety’s impact on the mind and how to overcome the barriers it creates. As the “episodes” progress, RZA details his vision of self-actualization and the necessary steps to embark on such a journey.

The new EP is not the only project RZA has been working on. The rapper’s forthcoming film, Cut Throat City–which he directed–will make its way to theaters on April 10th. Cut Throat City features fellow rap artist T.I. along with Wesley Snipes, Ethan Hawke, Shameik Moore, Terrance Howard, and more.
