On Saturday, December 26th, 50+ artists and hundreds of thousands of viewers around the world came together for Georgia Comes Alive, a virtual music festival aimed at promoting voter participation in Georgia’s critical Senate runoff elections on January 5th, 2021.
One of the many world-renowned performers to take part in the event was rap artist Shah, who provided a dose of Atlanta hip-hop flavor for the jam-heavy event with his performance of “Just Text” complete with a smoke show and kaleidoscopic virtual backdrop of luminescent triangles to make for an energizing viewing experience.
The emerging trap artist, who has earned mainstream attention in recent years from high-profile hip-hop outlets like Complex, put his stage presence on full display for the 3:30 minute performance of his 2017 single. Sporting a colorful jacket over an all-white outfit, Shah’s dose of bass-heavy hip-hop gave viewers an energy shot for the rest of the nine-hour streaming marathon.
