Lettuce guitarist Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff is the featured band member in the third episode of the funk band’s ongoing video series chronicling the making of their forthcoming studio album, Elevate. The new episode starring Smirnoff follows the previous editions of The Krewe, which focused on bassist Erick “Jesus” Coomes and drummer Adam Deitch.

“There [are] not many love projects left in this world, and this is a love project,” Smirnoff is heard saying over the in-studio B-roll to start the four-minute episode. Just as they did with the first two episodes of the mini-series, the band takes viewers into Colorado Sound Studios in Denver, CO where Lettuce worked on the recordings to appear on Elevate. Smirnoff spends his episode discussing the progressions the band has made with each album project in terms of writing and capturing their live energy in the studio, and also mentions how he recently moved to Denver to start a family.
