On Monday, Memphis soul/blues outfit Southern Avenue announced an extensive 2019 fall tour, which includes a handful of dates supporting Tedeschi Trucks Band.

In 2015, guitarist Ori Naftaly, vocalist Tierinii Jackson, and her drummer sister Tikyra Jackson helped form Southern Avenue. The band toured vigorously throughout the U.S. and Europe in their formative years before landing a record deal. Southern Avenue released their debut self-titled album in February 2017 via Stax Records. Expanding their vision to embrace new musical challenges, the quartet recently released their sophomore album in May, Keep On.

Southern Avenue’s fall tour begins with a performance at Middlesboro, TN’s Levitt Amp Middlesboro on September 5th and ends with a hometown show at Memphis, TN’s Halloran Centre on November on November 23rd. Towards the end of the tour, Southern Avenue will offer support to Tedeschi Trucks Band at Houston, TX’s Hobby Center for the Performing Arts (11/6); Dallas, TX’s Majestic Theater (11/8); Tulsa, OK’s Brady Theater (11/12); San Antonio, TX’s Tobin Center for the Performing Arts (11/14); and Little Rock, AK’s Robinson Center (11/16).
