Arizona-based jam quartet Spafford has announced an extensive 2020 winter tour set to kick off in January and run through April. The tour will feature support from several rising acts in the jam scene including The Iceman Special, Eggy, CBDB, Cycles, Yak Attack, and The Jauntee.
First, Spafford will navigate through Texas for shows in Houston (1/15), Austin (1/16, 1/17) and Dallas (1/18) with support from New Orleans swamp funk outfit The Iceman Special. From there, the band will head to Florida for performances in Pensacola (1/22), Tampa Bay (1/23), Fort Lauderdale (1/24), and Jacksonville (1/25) with support from rising CT-based jam quartet Eggy.
After an “evening with” show in Birmingham, AL on January 28th, the tour will continue with a run of dates supported by Alabama “joyfunk” quintet CBDB (1/29 in Oxford, MS; 1/30 in Knoxville, TN; 1/31 & 2/1 in Atlanta, GA; 2/3 in Greensboro, NC). From there, Eggy will once again serve as support for shows in Washington, D.C. (2/5) and Brooklyn (2/7, 2/8), with an “evening with” Spafford show in Boston (2/6) snuck in the middle. The three-night Brooklyn run will also feature a special “acoustic evening” with Spafford on February 9th.
From there, Spafford will head to Colorado for a run of shows with support from local favorite psychedelic power trio Cycles stopping in Winter Park (2/28–3/1), Grand Junction (3/4), Frisco (3/6, 3/7), Steamboat Springs (3/10, 3/11), Aspen (3/13), Telluride (3/14) and Park City, UT (3/17).
Spafford tour will continue from there with a five-night run featuring support from live elctronica trio Yak Attack stopping Victor, ID (3/19); Bozeman, MT (3/20); Missoula, MT (3/21); Sandpoint, ID (3/22); and Bellingham, WA (3/24). Finally, the tour will wrap up with a five-night run out west with support from The Jauntee stopping in Portland, OR (3/26); Bend, OR (3/27); Seattle, WA (3/28); Arcata, CA (4/1); and Las Vegas, NV (4/4).

Before the end of 2019, Spafford will head to California for a four-night New Year’s run featuring two performances at West Hollywood’s Roxy Theatre on December 27th and 28th as well as a pair of shows at San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall on December 3oth and 31st.
