The String Cheese Incident will head to Chicago, IL to wrap up 2021 and welcome 2022 with a three-night run at the historic Auditorium Theatre, the band announced on Monday.

The concerts, set to take place on December 30th and 31st, 2021 and January 1st, 2022, will mark serve as the band’s first New Year’s shows in Chicago since 2003.

A ticket pre-sale period will begin on Thursday, July 29th at 12:00 p.m. CT. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 30th at 10:00 a.m. CT.

The String Cheese Incident has teamed up with CID Entertainment to offer “Ultimate Incident” VIP Ticket and Travel Packages for the Chicago New Year’s run. In addition to officially confirming the New Year’s Incidents in Chicago, today’s announcement also offered a “save the date” of sorts for some November festivities (“Stay tuned for details on our Thanksgiving Incidents in the coming weeks”).

The band recently got back to performing following more than a year away from the stage with a headlining slot at The Peach Music Festival on July 4th and a run of five shows in Colorado featuring two nights at Dillon Amphitheater and three nights at Red Rocks.

The String Cheese Incident will now spend the bulk of August on tour, making multi-night stops in Berkeley, CA; Louisville, KY; Wilmington, NC; Asheville, NC; Nashville, TN; and more. For a full list of upcoming tour dates from The String Cheese Incident, head here.
