On Friday night, The String Cheese Incident offered up their first performance of the weekend at Live Oak, FL’s Suwannee Hulaween.

The String Cheese Incident opened up their first set with “Come As Your Are”, which was followed up by a pairing of “Song In My Head” into “Illegal”. SCI continued on with Billy Joe Shaver’s country hit “Live Forever” before coasting into a smooth-segue of “Joyful Sound” into “Rumble”. Following “Rumble”, the sextet welcomed The Motet’s Lyle Divinsky, Joey Porter, and Dave Watts, along with vocalists Rhonda Thomas and Tony White for a collaborative take on “Get To You”. “Get To You” is a single the band released out of their SCI Sound Lab in 2018 featuring Divinsky on vocals. To close out their first set, The Motet guitarist Ryan Jalbert joined SCI and the star-studded cast of guests that were already onstage for a funky cover of The Meters‘ “Hey Pocky Way”.

The six-piece continued on with “Bhangra Saanj”, a segue of “Shantytown into “Just One Story”, and a set-closing “Let’s Go Outside”.

Tonight, Saturday, October 26th, The String Cheese Incident returns to Suwannee Hulaween for their second of three performances at the festival. Head to The String Cheese Incident’s website for a full list of the band’s upcoming tour dates, ticketing, and more information.
