Today, STS9 announced a new collaboration with Boulder, Colorado-based fine cannabis-extract producer Green Dot Labs. Taking the name from STS9’s funky track “Gobnugget”, Green Dot Lab’s first-ever live resin pen, the Gobnugget Pen Limited Release, drops tomorrow at select Colorado dispensaries on Thursday, January 26th. The pen is a sneak peek at Green Dot Lab’s long-awaited and upcoming Black Label live resin pen line, which officially drops in March of this year.

As told by a press release, the 500mg cartridge pen “combines two intense, terpene-rich Black Label varietals: Citradelic Sunset (Ghost Train Haze x Mandarin Sunset) and Bottlewash (Wookie x OZ Kush). Together they create a psychedelic flavor profile with vivid, unexpected notes of lavender, lime, and grape soda. The creative collaboration continues with a special edition, black-and-gold box that echoes band’s extraterrestrial aesthetic and was designed with their guidance.”

Accompanying the limited 1000-pen release of the Gobnugget Pen collaboration, STS9 and Green Dot Labs will be running a special Golden Ticket Giveaway, allowing fans the opportunity to win tickets to STS9’s local winter tour shows in Telluride (Jan. 31) and Aspen (Feb. 1-3) and the exclusive “Mission Control Pack.” Furthermore, people who purchase pens will also get a free download of a show from the tour plus donate a portion of the sale to benefit the Boulder-based nonprofit, Conscious Alliance.

As Green Dot Labs founder Dave Malone said in a press release, “STS9 is one of our favorite bands. We’re constantly inspired by their creative exploration, so for our second collab we decided to push the boundaries and do something totally new—our first ever pen.”

In turn, STS9 percussionist Jeffree Lerner had this to say about the new pen, “We are so excited about our latest collaboration with Green Dot Labs who have designed a strain called “Gobnugget” for us…this one is gonna be special. It’s a live resin pen and you will be able to find it in Denver, Boulder, Aspen, and Durango for our Winter Tour dates in Colorado. Look forward to seeing you at all the shows…”
